Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a complex and unpredictable condition, but we understand how difficult a diagnosis can be. That’s why we’re here to help.
MS is thought to be largely genetic, but other factors, such as infection, may trigger it. This can lead to a wide range of symptoms, so we prioritize personalized care.
If your MS is part of a set of needs, our Enable service is designed for you. We have the skills and experience to support you in living as independently as possible, in the comfort of your own home.
Because MS affects everyone differently, we focus on both the physical and emotional effects. We support you and your family to engage with the local community, support services, and groups, as you choose.
Our home care and live-in care options provide one-to-one support in the comfort and security of your own home. Your carefully matched support worker gives you control over your care.
Our focus is to actively help you adapt to and overcome any obstacles or limitations. We want to ensure that you can continue to enjoy the important things in your life, such as your job, studies, and social activities.
All our live-in care team members complete the nationally recognized care certificate. They also receive specific training, led by internal and external trainers and/or healthcare professionals, based on the needs of our clients. We also have an internal “Multiple Sclerosis Awareness and Management” training program.
We work with local and national MS organizations and our training partner, Training Now, to continually assess and improve training for our care workers. This ensures that we are supporting you in the best way possible.
